How to determine the appropriate surface for wall stickers.

Why does the wall sticker stick to the wall and why doesn't it hold?
For the sticker to stick to the wall willingly, the chemistry has to be right. And that literally.
The composition of the wall paint must be compatible with the properties of the adhesive of the wall sticker. If this is not the case, the wall sticker will not stick to the wall and will not separate from the transport film during installation. This has nothing to do with the quality of the walls, the stickers, or the quality of the wall paint, it is simply a matter of chemistry.
Example: adhesive plasters do not stick to areas that have been smeared with cream shortly before. The adhesive plaster does not stick, while it will easily stick to another place. The situation is similar if a wall sticker does not want to stick to the wall. Just like oily skin, which does not stick to adhesive plasters, the wall paint, plaster or wallpaper may contain components that prevent the wall stickers from sticking.
In short: wall stickers stick to most surfaces . But not all. If a wall sticker doesn't stick, in most cases it's because the paint on the wall has ingredients that are not compatible with the adhesive on the wall sticker.
Wall stickers on wallpaper
In general, wall decals adhere well to wallpaper; under the right conditions, they will hold on to both smooth and textured wallpaper.
Wall stickers on painted wallpaper
Suitable paints for wallpapering walls:

What else should I pay attention to when installing on the surface?
Regardless of the ingredients, freshly applied wall paints, freshly plastered walls, and freshly plastered walls should dry for at least 2-3 weeks before you glue them.
